We are assisting an International publicly traded Fortune 500 company with their search for a Technical Accounting Manager. This opportunity can be 100% remote, or hybrid (company offers an excellent relocation package). The Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining global accounting policies and serves as a key technical resource for complex accounting requirements and implementation of new accounting standards and updates. This position reports to the Director, Financial Reporting.
Core Responsibilities • Research and document accounting treatment for complex accounting matters • Establish, maintain, and communicate robust global accounting and other business policies. • Act as subject matter expert to educate accounting/finance personnel and other business leaders to build and enhance awareness of various accounting requirements. • Partner with Internal Audit and ICFR teams to monitor business for compliance with GAAP and the company’s global accounting policies. Qualifications • bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in accounting or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License • 4+ years of experience of relevant experience in audit / compliance; Big 4 Audit background is desired. • Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
